Rock André: An inspiring journey between Haiti, the United States and Canada

Rock André is the founder of Rock André Consulting LLC. He holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Oklahoma State University. He is the Co-Founder of the Consulting Firm CEDEL HAITI – Center for Entrepreneurship and Leadership, which is a social venture designed to assist entrepreneurs in Haiti and help them make their businesses more sustainable. CEDEL HAITI started out in Entrepreneurship Incubator at Oklahoma State University in 2011. Rock is also a Fulbright Fellow (2009-2011). He earned a Certificate in Livelihoods and Market, with focus on Social Entrepreneurship and Value Chain Analysis, from the Coady International Institute/St Francis Xavier University, in Canada. Rock Andre has worked in the past as a business consultant in the United States, South Africa and Haiti. Rock is the Co-Founder of Pot’iwa Pizza (potiwa.com), an international Pizza franchise, specialized in Haitian authentic flavored pizza, especially pizza aransò and pizza griyo. Launched in Haiti in 2015, Pot’iwa gives a sense of pride to Haitians and serves a spot to facilitate Haitians from inside and oversees to come together, stay connected and share ideas around key issues pertaining to Haiti’s development. Pot’iwa current holds locations in New York, Port-au-Prince and Okap.
